The Good Fish: My First Comics Appearance!

I always tell you how Mom and I spend our fun days - where we go, what we eat and what we do. Most of them are not yet posted though, because we always get too busy with school and work. Anyways, I would like to share with you something we did sometime in December last year. My first ever comics appearance!
THE GOOD FISH

This is a story originally posted by Mom for Century Gourmet Bangus Fillet. Please tell me what you think. :-D

I Love Wantame (The New Game in Town)!

Wantame ~ The new game in town!

Last week, when Mom and I went to play in my favorite Power Station in Power Plant Mall, I was sad to see only 2 Love and Berry game machines and they were already occupied with a long line of girls waiting for their turn. They used to have 7 of them, that's why I was really surprised to see the rest of the stations unplugged and kept in one corner. I thought maybe they ran out of cards, which happens most of the time. So we went around to check out other games, when I discovered something new-- WANTAME!

Wantame game (Won! Tertainment Music Channel developed by Capcom) is pretty much like the Love and Berry Dress Up and Dance game, but they have kitties and other animals ready for dressing up, singing, dancing and even cooking! It's an interactive screen touch game, where players need to touch the screen directly by finger for selecting icons, rhythm games, miracle chances and other fun activities.

The machine gives out the following cards: Kitten Cards, Miracle Power Cards (all 5 types), Fashion Cards: Clothes (all 32 types), Fashion Cards: Accessories (all 24 types) that can be used for different settings, themes and backgrounds. By the way, the cards are a little smaller than the Love and Berry cards. Maybe I need a new album for this?

This is what I played and I lost! Hahaha!

It's a lot of fun to play! But the thing is, the game doesn't have English instructions so I had to guess what to do next. Words are ALL in Japanese characters. Ughhh. =( Anyways, do check it out and try playing this new kind of screen touch rhythm game and tell me what you think!

I'm Back Again!

Hello friends! I'm back!

I've been too busy with school lately and we just had our first long test last week (I got 96% in Math! Yey! :). I love my new section, classmates and teachers. There will be a couple of firsts I'm very excited to do this year - real laboratory experiments in Science (didn't I tell you I wanted to be a scientist someday?) and learn crafts and cooking in Home Economics. I also joined the Young Artists Club, so that means more art activities for me!

I'm sure this school year 2010-2011 will bring me loads of fun and surprises!

Please bear with me if I am not able to post regularly. I need to concentrate extra in my studies because I want to get higher grades this school year. But don't worry! Mom is always here to help me with school and blogging, so the fun doesn't end here. Promise!

I miss all of you! Please continue visiting my home on the net. *hugs* :-D

"Hannah Montana: The Movie" Trailer

I couldn't wait to see Hannah Montana: The Movie from Walt Disney Pictures! I'm one of her number one fans (so obvious!) and I wouldn't miss it for the world! Mom already promised that we would watch this the moment it's shown in our local theaters. :)

Here is a sneak peek of the much awaited movie showing on April 10, 2009. Enjoy!

I Got LOVE!

Want some LoVe?

Remember how excited I was about the arcade game Love and Berry but don't have a trading card album? Well my super Mom was able to find an album for my collection last year which was really great, because it's not that expensive! We put my personalized Love and Berry photo at the front, see? And what makes it even more exciting is that my godmother Auntie Gayle, gave me "Love". Yes, that small pink doll is Love who came all the way from Japan! (I wonder when Berry is coming over to follow, Auntie Gayle?)

My album and Love

Mom took lots of pictures of me as always, while playing my favorite game and took shots of my cards too. She put them all in one photo. I have gowns, shoes, hairstyles and other beautiful dresses!

Me and my collection

After my final exams we're going back here! I still have to study hard to get high grades in school, but I'm already excited to collect more cards when vacation comes. Before I go, let me show you Love, Berry and Chestene's pose! So cool!!!

Do you Love and Berry too? :)

I Love Reading!

Mom bought me a lot of books even before I could read them. I first learned how to read when I was in Nursery and it's been an adventure eversince. Whenever we go out, we always visit the bookstore to check out what's new. The photo below is my dream library at Fully Booked Powerplant Mall. I can stay there for hours without getting bored!
My dream library

Sometimes, when we can't go to the bookstore, we buy magazines at the magazine stand. My favorites are Winx, Disney Princess, W.I.T.C.H, Monster Allergy, Total Girl, Disney & Me and DC comics. And if I get lucky, Mom lets me read my magazines at Starbucks while having some Java Chip Frapuccino. Cool!

Magazines, anyone?

Disney Magazine + Starbucks = Fun!

One time, Mom asked me to pick one book that I like as my reward for getting high grades in my exam. I picked Nancy Drew's Mystery of the Brass-Bound Trunk. I chose it because I want to know about hidden gems and treasures! Mom was surprised because she used to borrow the same hardbound Nancy Drew books in the library when she was still in High School. I finished reading it that same day because I was so excited to know about the ending.

My first Nancy Drew book

This is what I always do when I am in bed and ready to sleep. I like reading my fairy tale books before sleeping. My day is not complete without it!

What kind of books do you enjoy reading?

Loving Love and Berry

Do you know Love and Berry? It's my all time favorite game!

It's a super cool dress-up game wherein for every game, the Love and Berry machine will give you a fashion card so you can create outfits to mix, match and collect for Love or Berry. Once you've chosen your level and show, you have to tap the buttons while Love and Berry sing and dance to the music. Be sure to tap to the beat or you will lose points!

I already collected 24 cards but Mommy can't find a trading card album for it, so she bought a small transparent album to be my Love and Berry album in the meantime.

What's cool is that she made me a personalized front cover for it and another one with song lyrics of the game! I love it!

Love, Berry and Me!

So here's how my album looks like now. Not bad, huh?

Do you play Love and Berry? How many cards did you collect? I'd love to know!
